Covered up!
Well, it has been a while since I posted anything here on the blog. Things have been busy both personally and professionally. Getting the course ready for Boiling Springs was tough and it has taken every weekend since then to get the Sawmill in good shape. One more weekend of work and it should be ready to go. The course at Sawmill will be much different that the past two courses, that is for sure!
The next event after Sawmill is the Salt River Run in Mercer County. It is close to my home, but once again, it will take every weekend between June 12th and July 17th to get it done. The bad part is how hot it is getting and on top of all that, there is more poison ivy down at the Salt River Run Course than just about anywhere else we work. Never a dull moment!

Later this summer we’ll be traveling out West again. The plan is to hit Colorado first and stay in Boulder 2 days and Steamboat Springs another 2 days. Afterwards, we’re driving up to Pinedale, Wyoming for a night and then on up to Challis, Idaho for 5 evenings. We’ll then head up the Salmon River to Stanley for a week or so and on down to Twin Falls to visit with Kim’s family for a couple days. Our trip home will be through Wyoming and Nebraska rather than Colorado and Kansas. I hate that drive across Kansas . . . Nebraska is a much better route and better scenery overall. Hope to get in at least two days of riding while in Idaho so stay tuned for a ride report later this summer.
