Okay! I finally got a chance to ride the beast once again. My plans to ride it the past couple weekends were foiled, but Jesse was home this weekend and he took it down to the Salt River Run to check out the course progress and test his bike a bit.

The WR300, aside from its odd Jesse Smith specific setup, is a great bike (see the photo above). I find it too hard to start and when tired it would be a pain to deal with but otherwise, the power is incredibile and the gearing is perfect. Jesse feels it is too low for here in Central Kentucky, but I disagree. I like it just the way it is at 14/52 with the WR4xx gearing. It seems ideal to me.
