2018 Q 2 Finish!

My first finish for Q2 of 2018 is is called Disappearing Bento Box which is similar to a stack and whack quilt. The Bento Box blocks are fun to make. Each Bento Box block has 2 colors in it. For the method I used I grouped my fabric in pairs. For each fabric pair I made 2 mirror imaged blocks. I cut each block into 4 pieces, mixed them up and sewed them back together. Here are a couple of the blocks before they are cut into quarters and sewn back together:

The fabrics I used are all fabrics that I love; fabrics that I have been hoarding for a long time. The fabrics are all designed by Sandy Gervais; some are prints; some are solids. When I signed up for the Finish-a-Long I had all 16 blocks done so just needed to sew the top together, quilt and bind the quilt. Here is the finished front and back of the quilt
