One Block Wonder Quilt – Charity Quilt #1

This is my second year participating in the Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge. This is the 8th year of the Challenge which is coordinated by Sarah who blogs at Confessions of a Fabric Addict. Read all the details of the Challenge here.

My first 2018 Hands2Help Charity quilt is a One Block Wonder quilt and it will be donated to the Charity #1 – Little Lambs foundation for Kids. This wonderful charity provides comfort kits to children ages newborn to 17 years old who are transitioning into foster care, emergency shelter or who have been hospitalized, by providing them with a little comfort in a bag. This quilt was designed from the publication One-Block Wonders: One Fabric, One Shape, One-of-a-Kind Quilts by Maxine Rosenthal. One Block Wonder quilts are Kaleidoscope quilts using a single fabric. The fabric choice is crucial to making these quilts work well. The fabric I used was Daisy Chain by Amy Butler.

Here is a picture of the finished quilt.

Make sure to check out all the link ups on the Hands2Help page. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
